June Kwan Chun Wong (aged 67) died peacefully on September 26, 2017 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, after a valiant and courageous battle with lung cancer. June was born June 14, 1950, in Hong Kong, the daughter of Tam Chok (Father) and Mak Kam Ho (Mother).

June loved travelling, shopping, trying new cuisines and restaurants and spending time with family and friends. She played basketball growing up and continued to stay active and maintained a healthy lifestyle. She had an insatiable thirst for new adventures.

June graduated from Tai Tung Middle School and attended nursing school at Grantham Hospital in Hong Kong. In 1975, June married the love of her life, Melville Yook Guey Wong, and immigrated to Montreal, Quebec, where she lived for 9 years before moving to Brampton, Ontario. In addition to raising two children, she also worked at Canada Cup for over 20 years as a printer operator.

June is survived by her husband Melville Yook Guey Wong; son, Lester and daughter, Rachel; as well as her brother, Yuet Wing, and sisters, Kwan Ho, An Ho, and Kwan Shui.

There will be a visitation for all friends and family on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 from 11:00am-noon, followed by the funeral service from noon-1:00pm. A lunch reception will follow promptly after the service.
