June Faith Powell (nee Hadley), passed away suddenly at St. Joseph's at Fleming in Peterborough, Ontario on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. Beloved and cherished wife of the late Lorne William Powell. Loving mother will be sadly missed by Susan Williams (Bob), William Hueston (Lynne), Debbie Agnew (Tim) and Kevin Powell (Nadine). Dear grandmother of Krista, Kerri, Angie, Melissa, Christopher, Jacob and Ethan and great-grandmother of 8. Predeceased by parents Lavada Hadley (Robertson) and Ivan Lloyd "Roy" Hadley, brothers George Hadley, Ivan Hadley and sisters Ruth Osborne and Winnifred Caister.
Visitation will be held at The Simple Alternative - Pickering on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10 am followed by a Celebration of Life honoring June's 82nd birthday at 11 am. The family invites you to share fond memories of June at the reception on-site following he service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of June to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
