In memory of

Judi Ann Willard

October 31, 1934 -  June 21, 2016

Judi Ann Willard (nee Hamilton)

October 31st, 1943 - June 21st, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an amazing woman following a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Ashley (David), Shannon, brother Danny (April), nephews Sean and Brendan, joy of her life grandson Jackson, and countless friends. Born in Grimsby, Ontario Judi lived in West Vancouver and Ontario prior to settling in Montreal where via her love for skiing met her ex-husband Don. She raised her girls primarily in Toronto while maintaining a very successful career as an Executive in the Fashion industry. Despite her career success she was always devoted to her favourite title, mom and later grandma. Her daughters were her pride and joy.

Judi loved travelling with her family, summer's at the cottage, and winters in Florida. She was a lover of great food, wine, books, shopping, and had a soft spot for all animals. She was happiest surrounded by family and friends including many family dogs.

Judi was incredibly strong until the end, beating the odds of her diagnosis for over 2 years. It's with tremendous gratitude that the family thanks the countless doctors and nurses who cared for her including 16P at PMH, Jojo, and Zehn.

Judi will be honoured and loved everyday. She will be remembered for her strength, elegance and loving fun nature. Her memory will live on in Ashley, Shannon, and Jackson.

Funeral will be held at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto on Wednesday, June 29 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior. Followed by burial and reception.

Dear Shannon and Ashley,
It was with shock that I learned of the recent loss of your dear Mom. I know how much you both meant to Judi and how very proud she was of both of you. She must have been thrilled to have a delightful grandson Jackson. During the time that we worked together, Judi and I became more than colleagues but friends and I regret not keeping up with her more closely. I can only add, that my thoughts are with you as I know that although you never get over loss, you learn to live again and Judi will never be far from your thoughts. Blessings to you and your family, Kathryn
