In memory of

Juanita Fernandez

December 14, 1940 -  September 18, 2021

Juanita Fernandez (Ardanaz), 80, passed away peacefully and pain free at her home on September 18, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.

To know Juanita, also known by so many as Nena, was to know the importance of family and friends, her love of the arts, reading, music, painting, craft making and love of animals. She loved her travel, especially the sun soaked vacations spent with her soul mate, husband Edward who she loved so much. Now at peace together there is little doubt they are walking hand in hand on a beach only later gliding gracefully across the dance floor.

Juanita is survived by her daughter Mari Duncan and son Ed Fernandez, daughter in law Liz. Four beautiful Granddaughters Erin Bloomfield (Tim), Alexandra McGuire (Jason), Kristina Fernandez (Tyler) and Samantha Fernandez (Rob). Four great Grandchildren, Mason Bloomfield, Tanner Bloomfield, Loghan McGuire and Emmett McGuire. Beloved sister to Vicky Cutrara (nee Ardanaz) brother in law Jim Cutrara, Rico Ardanaz, sister in law Rose Ardanaz and her many nephews and nieces. All of she loved so deeply.

Because Nena always felt such joy and love for pets which gave her unconditional love and enriched her life. She would want to honour that love by requesting donations to the Brampton Animal Shelter in her name. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, a private funeral service will be taking place.
