Joyce Lillian Dicks

December 2, 1930 -  March 22, 2017

Joyce Lillian Dicks (nee Potter)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on March 22, 2017 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Samuel for 47 years. Much loved and devoted mother of Marva Bessey, deceased 2015 (Tony), Bonnie Dart (Jerry) and Murray Tetford (Pamela). Special Nana to Stacey (Robert), Wade, Christopher (Melissa), Andy, Cameron (Melanie) and Sydney. Great Nana to Maddy and Wyatt. Will be missed by many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. She was a special person who dedicated her life to caring for the elderly at various long term care facilities throughout her career. Retired from Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa. The family wishes to thank the staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care she has received in the past number of weeks. Family and friends can be received at Dunbarton Fairport United Church, 1066 Dunbarton Road, Pickering on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
