In memory of

Jonah McCloskey

September 7, 1999 -  June 2, 2024

Jonah Ernst McCoskey affectionately known as Brian Hulu, passed away on June 2nd 2024, at the young age of 24. in his hometown of Toronto. Born on September 7th, 1999, at Toronto General Hospital, Jonah was the cherished son of Katherine McCloskey (nee Monk) and Kevin McCloskey.

Jonah will be deeply missed by his brothers Jeffrey, Caleb, and Sammy, his sister-in-law Crystal, nieces and nephews, Carson, Olivia (“Arts and Crafts”) Avery and Jacob.

Jonah’s finest legacy is his 2 ½ year old son Hendrix, who adored him and the love that he has for his lifetime partner Blaze. From bouncing Hendrix up in the air in the neighbourhood pool, visiting various parks, his genuine interest in others and loyalty to friends endeared him to all who were blessed to know him in this way.

Jonah’s life and the deep, all-encompassing love that he shared so freely is testimony to the fact that when life takes us to unexpected places, love will always bring us back home.

Dear Kathy, Kevin and boys,
We are so very sorry about the loss of your Jonah. Parents should never have to bury a child, and kids should not have to grow up with the loss of their sibling. You have been in my thoughts so often, and we wish you peace and love as you navigate this new life. Lots of love,
Brenda (and Wilf, Caitlyn and Josh)
