With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jolanta Okon, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on April 3, 2025, at the age of 64.

Born in Krakow, Poland, on October 1, 1960, Jolanta brought light and warmth to all who knew her. She made her home and enjoyed her retirement years in beautiful Collingwood, Ontario, where she found joy in simple pleasures, her family, and her faith.

Jolanta was deeply devoted to her family and parish. She was an active member of her Church choir, Quo Vadis, where her voice and spirit were a source of comfort and connection. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Janusz, her cherished children Marek, Maggie, and Matylda, her six treasured grandchildren: Brayden, Niklas, Freya, Bridget, Clara, and Leanna, and her children-in-law, Keegan and Emily. Her memory will live on in their hearts and the lives she touched.

A visitation will be held on April 11th at Meadowvale Cemetery from 4 PM - 8 PM with a rosary service at 6 PM, and a funeral mass will follow on April 12th at St. Eugene’s Church in Brampton at 11 AM.

Jolanta’s presence was a gift, and her legacy of love, laughter, and song will continue to resonate with all who knew her.
