In memory of

John Quang Doan

June 12, 1993 -  October 9, 2024

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Quang Doan of Brampton, Ontario, who left us unexpectedly on Wednesday October 9, 2024, at the age of 31.

John loved joking around and was always up for spontaneous bubble tea missions. He was an avid gamer and loved playing League of Legends with his brother, cousins and close friends.

John was known for his big heart and ability to make everyone around him feel special, especially his beloved family, relatives and friends. He had a remarkable way of lifting spirits with his cheerful personality and ever-present smile, making every day brighter and better.

Though he left us too soon, John’s legacy lives on in countless memories created with family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

John is survived by his mother (Jenny Poc), father (Minh Soc), brother (Christopher Andrew), grandmother (Cam Tang) along with many family members and friends; all of whom will cherish the time spent with him and the joy he brought into their lives.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on Wednesday October 16, 2024, at:
“The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre” in Mississauga at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, ON, CANADA, L4W 5J1 where we will gather to remember his bright spirit and share stories of the joy he gave us all.

Rest in peace, dear John. Your kind heart and radiant smile will never be forgotten as you are loved by so many people.

John and I went to the same elementary, middle and high school and we shared a lot of classes together over the years. I will always remember him for his impeccable humor and fun-loving personality. One of the funniest and nicest people I knew. Very sad to hear this news...my deepest condolences to John's friends and family. He will be missed by many.

I’ve known John for a long time - we went to elementary, middle school and high school together, our moms also worked together when we were kids. John had such an infectious smile and you could always count on him to crack a joke in any conversation. John will be sorely missed.

Sending my deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time and may John rest in peace.
