In memory of

John Patrick Turgeon

July 4, 1970 -  October 17, 2024

John-Patrick, a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a Papa, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, a brave man. Many titles a person can carry throughout their lifetime. However, our character, how we make others feel, and the times shared together are the most remembered.

John walked his talk. He was genuine, tenacious, smart, funny, tender, sensitive, and a very hard worker. John worked hard every step of his journey and continued moving forward, asking questions and doing his best with every challenge that arose. His beautiful, intelligent mind would not let him give up until his heart spoke to him and shared in his final days that it was time to rest and have peace. How incredibly brave John was in his last days as he reached out to loved ones and prepared the best way he could.

John adored all of his family and the life he created, especially his wife, LiWei, his daughter, Lucy, son-in-law, Michael, and his beautiful grandson, Chauncey.

John was a good example of a polite, kind, tender, and thoughtful person. With his kind, gentle blue eyes, he was present and listened to others and their stories. He loved all of his family and, when able, showered them with his generosity, love, and attention.

John has left much joy, knowledge, love, and beauty to remember him by. Many stories for all to share to continue his memories here on Earth while he has transitioned onto his next journey in peace.

I am very saddened by the passing of John as he was a truly a wonderful person to have as a friend and co-worker. We've been in touch over the years since we left BGIS. We shared many jokes, laughs and conversations. I'm going to miss him very much. May he rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ and may he be a guardian angel for his beloved family and friends. Amen 🙏
