WILLIAMS, John James “Poppy”

Passed away on September 21, 2017 at Kingston General Hospital, with his loving family by his side. John was 60 years young. He was a loving husband and soul-mate of Lynda. Loving dad of Danielle(Jamie), Ryan(Allison), Nicole(Tyler), Deejah(Liam), Nicolas(Paige) and “adopted” son Ben. Poppy will be missed by Charlotte, Kaiden, Owen, Olivia, Connor, Luca, Blake and Rowan. John was a loving brother of Martin(Margo) and Laura(Gord). Predeceased by his parents John and Isabelle Williams. He will be fondly missed by his extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE(1200 Thornton Road, North, Oshawa 905-579-6787) on Saturday September 30 from 10:00 am until time celebration of life at 11:00 am. Friends are invited to wear brightly coloured clothing to the Funeral Home in honour of John. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the caring and compassionate staff of Kingston General Hospital, especially Dr. Boyd and the ICU staff. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
