Jack passed away peacefully on Tuesday 15 January 2019, at Sunnybrook Hospital at the age of 95. He had been a resident of the Sunnybrook Veterans' Centre for the past 18 months. Beloved husband of Helen (nee McMillan), loving father to Sharon “Sherrie” (Simon) and Don (Debbie). He was predeceased by his sons Douglas (1958) and Bob (2017), and his brother George (1999).
Friends may pay their respects to Jack and his family at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough for visitation on Monday, January 21, 2019, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 at 2 pm with visitation 1 hour prior. If desired, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
