John "Jack" Francis Rose

January 26, 1939 -  February 8, 2024

Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024 at Providence Healthcare, Scarborough at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Margaret Rose for 56 years. Cherished brother of the late Paul Rose (survived by wife Cheryl) and the late Jim Rose (survived by wife Wendy). Dear uncle of Aaron, Vanessa, Sarah, Nathan, Amy and Kaitlyn; great-uncle of Geneva, Eli, Margot, Colten, Blake, Lennon and Everett (treasured memories of these little ones growing up). He will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends and neighbours. Jack retired from the TTC after 30+ years of service, he also dedicated his time as a volunteer in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at the Rouge Valley Hospital in Scarborough for many years.

Friends may call the Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough (north of St. Clair Avenue E., 416-267-8229) on Saturday, May 25, 2024 for a Memorial Visitation from 1 – 3 p.m.
As per Jack’s wishes, the burial services will be private.

Memorial donations in memory of Jack can be made to the Rosetta McClain Gardens, Scarborough (416-392-8188) by planting a tree in the gardens or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
