1929-2017

Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. John was predeceased by his parents, Beryl and Ian Macpherson. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jeannine (Kidd) and beloved children Laurie (Clifford), Bruce (Jodi), Janice Ferguson, and Scott (Shannon). Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Shauna and Jillian Macpherson; Alexandra and Jenna Macpherson; and Thomas Ferguson.

John was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Shriner and Member of Lodge 165, Burlington, Ontario. He retired in 1990 after a distinguished career with the Ontario Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations.

A private family service will be held. In memory of John, donations would be appreciated to the Movement Disorders Research Fund, Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation (www.tgwhf.ca/tribute or call 416-340-4430). Condolences can also be expressed through www.etouch.ca.
