It is with sadness that I have heard about Jack and his passing. We lived next door to Jack for 7 years in St. Catharines. He and Irene welcomed us with open arms when we moved in next door. His kindness, happy smile, his care for his property were all evident from the time we moved in. Our time as neighbours was too short and although we had shared a couple of evenings over dinner and some bridge games, when we saw them moving away onto their next home, we were very sad to see them go. A man of great integrity, a huge loving heart and a wonderful neighbour has been lost. As a family it must be an even greater loss when the Patriarch leaves you.
Our sincere condolences to all of you. His memories live on and we hope you find comfort in those small treasures.
