November 19, 1942 - February 11, 2017

John Chong See Kit passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the age of 74. John is lovingly remembered by his wife Janine; son Lyndley; daughters Jennifer and Tanya; sons-in-law Hirofumi and Shravan; grandchildren Saya, Naomi, Serine, Dani and Toma; along with his brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

John took pleasure in the simpler things in life. He loved tending to his garden, playing soccer at his weekly matches, dancing at any and every occasion, travelling with his wife and friends, spending time with his family and caring for his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and we will always carry his memory in our hearts.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 between 4:30pm-8:30pm at:
Elgin Mills Funeral Centre
1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M9

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017; 10:30am-11:30am at:
The Chapel at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre
1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M9

Cremation to follow after the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
