In memory of

Joanna Garbos

March 31, 1957 -  December 11, 2023

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Joanna Garbos on December 11, 2023 in Brampton, aged 66 years.

Beloved wife of Olgierd (Olek) and loving mama of Justyna and Krzysztof. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her brother Adam of California and her sister Ewa (Jan) and nieces Magdalena and Beata (Piotr) of Poland.

Joanna was a very passionate, energetic and social woman who cared deeply about her family and friends. She made sure that her family and any guests visiting her home were well fed by her excellent cooking. She loved being in nature and often spent her summer holidays camping with her family. She also enjoyed travelling throughout the States and Europe, especially to her homeland of Poland to visit family and friends. She was an enthusiastic downhill skier and loved line dancing with new friends at the Flower City Seniors Centre in her final years of life.

In memory of Joanna and in lieu of flowers, you may donate to any worthy cause (not political) or charity of your choice. Joanna's ashes will be laid to rest in Krakow, Poland.
