Jessie Simmons (Nee O'Halloran)
November 25, 1923 - May 20, 2016

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Jessie Catherine (nee O'Halloran) Simmons on Friday, 20 May 2016. She will be greatly missed by her children Linda and Patricia (Gord Hennessy). Her beautiful grandchildren Michelle (Manny Cordeiro) and Kelley who will remember their Nan with love along with her great grandchildren, Noah and Julia who will always remember their Great Nanny. Jessie loved to have her family around, special occasions dinners, pool parties and birthday parties, Saturday night dance parties and games, it was always a lot of fun and laughter. She will be missed greatly but always remembered with love.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

The family will be receiving friends at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Tuesday, May 24 from 10:30am until time of service at 12pm. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research, Canada.

Dear Auntie Jess I will always always remember the fun parties we would have at your house sitting around your kitchen table. I loved listening to the many funny stories you all told about the O'Halloran family. Those times were the best times of my life and I will always cherish them in my mind. I believe you are in a better place because now you are with your husband, parents and all your siblings. They've been waiting for you. Say hello to everybody for me and we will all see them all someday. Love to you always your niece Kathy xo

I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm sad for the last of the O'Halloran girls to pass. I miss them all. We sure had fun as a family back in the day! I'm so glad I was able to see auntie Jess last year. You're all lucky to have had her so long as a mom, grand mom and great grand mom!! I loved all the pictures posted, they brought nice memories. Love to you all.
I'm going to donate to Prader-Willi research in Auntie Jess' name.
