The staff and board of directors of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO), are heartbroken with Jessie's passing. In life, as in memory, Jessie was and will remain for us a giant human being that role modeled kindness, generosity, compassion, and gratitude for people and life itself.
Our hearts are with Jessie’s husband Jose, son Justin and the extended family. Jose, Jessie was so proud you were going to reach your 40 year's anniversary, which you did on January 1st. Justin, please know that your Mom spoke often about you, and she did so with such sweetness and pride. You both were Jessie's life's strength. I also know from speaking with you that Jessie was the pillar of your own lives. Jose and Justin, please count on us at RNAO for strength as we all cope with such an immense loss.
Jessie Saturno's extended family included RNAO. She worked with us for 30 years and was an exemplary employee. What made Jessie extraordinary were not only her outstanding competencies, but the boundless humanity which she exuded in all that she did. Jessie was kind, generous, committed and dedicated in every aspect of her life, starting with her husband and son, continuing with the broader family and community, and finally with us and all our members.
We will miss you so very much Jessie, but as I said to you just a few days ago, you will remain with us forever as we all do our part to live in our actions your legacy of laughter, life enjoyment, kindness, generosity, compassion, gratitude, commitment and dedication.
With eternal love,
Doris and RNAO Team
May you be comforted during this difficult time. Heartfelt condolences and prayers for your family.
Our deepest condolences to Kuya Joey & family
