In memory of

Jessie McGee Adam

April 30, 1936 -  December 6, 2023

Passed away peacefully in Toronto on Wednesday, December 6th, at the age of 87.

Beloved wife of the late Jim Adam. Loving Mum of Gary (Laura) and Mandy (Joseph). Loving sister to Les and Bill of Glasgow, Scotland. Devoted Nana to Matthew, Ashley, Jessica, Alexandra and Hannah. Great Nana to Alice, Adrian and Abel. Loving Aunt to Kym (Mike), Paul (Libby) Karen (Freddie), Ian, Maureen, Barbara and her many nieces and nephews and extended family in Scotland.

A kind and gentle soul who enriched every life she touched by welcoming you no matter where you were from, with a smile that lit up the life on earth. Jessie retired from the Toronto District School Board after many years on the help desk where she taught and assisted the secretaries on many of the various computer programs.

Although her passion was definitely her grandchildren, upon retirement Jessie took up golf and became very passionate about the game, so much so that she would later beat Dad who had been an avid golfer all his life. Jessie had a zest for life and put her heart and soul into everything she did.

Her incredible legacy of love will live on forever not only within her family but by all of those who were blessed to know her.

A special thank you to the team at Weston Terrace and our amazing friends, (who became family) at Amica Peel Village for the many years of care and compassion towards Mum.

Friends may pay their respects at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre 1535 S Gateway Rd, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 5G6

A Mothers Love is like no other, the purest form of love. It's a love painted with sacrifice, unrivalled dedication and unmatched devotion.

Mama

You loved your family with all of your being and were the best Mama and Nana in the world. You were pure love and light, compassion, empathy and kindness. The most beautiful soul who saw only the best in everyone. Truly an Angel walking on earth. I love you with all my heart and soul Mama and I am so grateful that I got to be your daughter. Your legacy of love will live on forever in all of us.

Even though dementia robbed us of these last few years I know deep down in my heart a little piece of you still knew that I was with always with you.

My heart is completely broken and my life forever changed now without you.

Sweet dreams Mama. I will love you forever xoxo
