Jessica Acedo Bertumen

January 24, 1971 -  December 20, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, cherished sister, doting aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, Jessica Acedo Bertumen. Daughter to the late Bonifacio S. Bertumen Sr. & Aurelia (nee Acedo), loving sister to Bonifacio Bertumen Jr. (Mona), Joseph Bertumen, Janice Smith (Ryan), and Joanne Shillinglaw (Alex) and devoted aunt to Ryleigh, Cole, Greyson, Logan, and Jamieson.
After a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 52, Jessica passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 20, 2023. Jessica will be remembered for her love of travel, adventure, music concerts, and her dedication to family. More than just a special and caring person, she was a beautiful soul.
Gone too soon but never to be forgotten. Rest in peace until we see you again Inday.💕

Jessica was a great friend to me. She was someone I admired and respected. I considered myself very lucky to have met her and became her friend. She was always warm, caring, supportive and positive about everything. I will miss you Jess tremendously. I will miss our eating out and going to movies or just hanging out. Rest in peace Jessica. You will never be forgotten

Words cannot capture the depth of sorrow for the loss of Jessica. Since high school, she was always a true, caring and amazing friend to me. I will always remember the great times we had together hanging out. She was a positive influence and lived a life of kindness, dedication and integrity. She was a close friend and she is greatly missed. Rest in peace dear Jessica.
