In memory of

Jessica Adrienne Thomas

August 25, 1980 -  September 24, 2021

The family of Cora Thomas (and Anesta and Annette Huggins) announces the passing of their loving daughter, Jessica Adrienne.
Jessica peacefully departed at the same hospital where she came into this world, North York General, on September 24, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with COVID-19.

She leaves to mourn her mother, Cora Thomas; children Jude, Nyla, and Nicelle Nedd; sister, Tamara Huggins; brother, Conrad Huggins (Julie Huggins); siblings in Barbuda, Tessa, Kallie, Charlene, and Tanika Webber; family in Barbuda, Antigua, Canada, USA, and England. She was a wonderful aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and the favourite cousin of so many.

Jessica was a trusted and faithful friend, hard worker, and kind and compassionate to strangers she met along her life.

Jess will forever be in our hearts and live through the eyes of her children.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday October 16, 2021. You may watch an archive of the service here:

Jessica was more than a friend growing up, her and Tammy were like sisters to me. The laughter we had together is what stands out. Jessica was someone you could count on to tell you a hard truth, something we lack in today's world. I consider myself fortunate for the time I had with her. My condolences.

My beautiful cousin, I miss you sooo much. I enjoyed our laughs and the many times you would just say the funniest things. You kept things real and often spoke what was on your mind. You had the most beautiful smile and when you laughed u would say oh mi belly. Our last conversation was August 17th you made me laugh until I was weak. I am truly great full for the memories I have of you. Sleep in peace
Love your cuz Jezael

Sending so much love to Jessica's family. They have undoubtedly lost a significant piece of their lives. We are still in shock and speechless with her passing. Rest In Peace Jessica. ❤️

Sending so much love. I’m still in disbelief. I grew up with her in my house often as she was Kimmy’s best friend. She was always so nice (even when Kimmy wasn’t!). Friendly, loving and I can still hear her laugh. So much love to her family especially her kids at this time.
