RIP Jerry - God speed
BEANNACHT - an Irish blessing
On the day when the weight deadens on your shoulders and you stumble, may the clay dance to balance you.
And when your eyes freeze behind the gray window and the ghost of loss gets in to you, may a flock of colors, indigo, red, green and azure blue come to awaken in you a meadow of delight.
When the canvas frays in the curach of thought and a stain of ocean blackens beneath you, may there come across the waters a path of yellow moonlight to bring you safely home.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours, may the clarity of light be yours, may the fluency of the ocean be yours, may the protection of the ancestors be yours. And so may a slow wind work these words of love around you, an invisible cloak to mind your life.”
God bless Roxanne and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Jerry always left his porch light on for me at night. He shovelled my snow and cleared off my car in the winter. Jerry loved small Kit Kat chocolate bars. Irene and Jerry would often come over for tea and a visit. We would talk about Newfoundland. Jerry will be greatly missed.
I was sorry to hear about Jerry's demise. Mom often talked about Jerry and how much he did to help her because I live about about an hour and a half away. To Irene, thank you too for being a friend to my mother. I want you and your family to know that I greatly appreciate all the help and support that Jerry gave. God bless.
RIP Uncle Jerry! You will always be remembered as the fun loving uncle and forever missed! We love you❤️Love Judy and daughters Miranda, Emma and Hannah xo
Irene, Roxanne and Darren,
