In memory of

Jerry Poy Sun Lee 李 培 新

December 1, 1934 -  February 11, 2019

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Jerry Poy Sun Lee. He died peacefully surrounded by family at St. Michael's Hospital on February 11, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mrs. Wai Jane Lee, his only son Robert, and daughter in-law, Mary.

He was a devoted and proud grandfather (“Yeh Yeh”) to Melissa (Chris), Taylor and Madison. A cheerful, positive, generous and adoring great grandfather (“Bac Bac”) to Kyla and Alani.

He will always be remembered for his unconditionally kind heart, his calm demeanor,
and his charisma. No matter the day, time or circumstance, he could always embrace you with one of his classic grins or his notorious everything is ‘ok’ hand gesture. He practised patience to the highest level each and every day. A sincere gentleman with a courteous hand shake.

As quiet as he was, he possessed an unexpected sense of humour, bringing smiles, lightness, peace and harmony to every room. We will miss his unmistakable chuckle and the dimples that it brought to his face. A true inspiration and role model to all of us.

He will forever be in our hearts.

Please join us in celebrating his life at
