Peacefully passed at her Sherwood Court Long Term Care home in Maple on August 21, 2021. Jennie, dear daughter of the late Alexander and the late Persephone, beloved sister of the late Sophia Dimson, Celia Metrakos and Mary Barrens, the late brothers-in-law Angelo Bill Dimson and Richard Barrens, and the late nephew William Dimson aka Siri. Loved by dear nephews Fred and Alex Dimson, dear nieces Leta Dayfoot and Persephone Dimson, dear niece-in-law Norah Lee Farrow and nephew-in-law Reverend Tim Dayfoot. Fondly remembered by grand nephews Alexander, Narayan, Thomas and Andrew, grand nieces Melina and Sophia, goddaughter Nicol, cousins Sophie and Fred, along with many other relatives and friends.

Jennie always treated people with respect and kindness and had an uncanny natural artistic eye for design which served her well as an Interior Decorator and many of the other jobs and volunteer positions she held throughout her life.

Jennie had an unwavering love and commitment to her family and faced life’s storms with strength and courage. She brightened up any room she walked into, and brought joy into our lives. We will miss seeing that twinkle in her eye and hearing that little mischievous giggle. God Bless you, Jennie.
Visitation and Funeral Services were held on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th respectfully at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, Toronto. Interment was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Parkinson Canada.
