The family is very sad to share the news of the passing of loving son and brother Jeff Cardno.

Jeff was predeceased by his father (George R. B. Cardno), survived by his mother (Florence May Cardno) and sisters Janet Cardno and Sheila McKinnon.

Jeff is a greatly loved uncle to Robyn, Keith and Ian McKinnon and brother-in-law Fraser McKinnon.

Surrounded by his extended family (uncles Bruce Cardno, Cliff Marsh, aunt Joyce Marsh, cousins Bruce, Elaine, Gareth, Rachel and spouses) including Laurie Owens, Jennifer, Candice and Anthony along with a large number of close friends whose love and support is greatly appreciated; Jeff passed away on Tuesday, November 15 at 4:20 pm after a sudden, brief illness.

The family wishes to thank the caring and supportive staff at the Critical Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa.

Rest in peace Jeffrey Boy.

I can't begin to express the loss I feel with the passing of Jeff. We have worked, travelled, lived, dined and the list goes on. I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to the family and other friends of Jeff's to which there seems to be too many to count. I could not imagine the pain being felt by the loved ones left behind of someone at that young an age to move on. I will remain always available should you feel I can help you in any way.

I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our good friend, and brother Jeff Cardno. Jeff, myself, and group of steamfitters all met through attending trade school, and have remained friends ever since. Jeff excelled at his work, at OPG Pickering,Darlington and Bruce Power. He was able to utilize his knowledge and skills to move into planning and accessing department. Jeff has left us way to early, and he will be greatly missed by all his friends.

We are so sorry to hear about Jeff. He was a loving and fun guy, who was always smiling. Losing someone so young and suddenly is incredibly hard. Love to all the family.
