In memory of

Jeannie Dorothy Krawczyk nee Hudak

February 3, 1951 -  February 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannie Dorothy Krawczyk on February 28, 2024, after a brief, but courageous battle with lung cancer. She was 73. Former wife of Frank Krawczyk, and cherished mother of Stephen (wife Lori), and Lisa (partner Mark). She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandson Hilden. Survived by her mother, Albina Hudak, younger sister Darlene, and predeceased by her father, John. Jeannie’s kind and outgoing personality was appreciated by all those who knew her, especially by her life-long friend Irene Tabone, who she met while attending high school in Toronto. Jeannie loved listening to music, dancing, flowers, and cooking traditional Slovak meals for her family. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Sincere thanks to the Mississauga Hospice Team, along with the compassionate nurses and Dr. Gupta at Mississauga Trillium Hospital for their excellent care.

Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Friday March 8, 2024 for a Memorial Gathering from 6-7 p.m. A Service will follow at 7 p.m.

Please consider making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Jeannie.

I have many happy memoriesof Jeannie. I can remember sharing many laughs and having fun times from years ago. Unfortunately I lost touch with Jeannie but I have never forgotten her. I especially recall how much she loved music and dancing.
My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
