In memory of

Jean Janice Elliott

March 11, 1932 -  July 23, 2019

In the early morning hours of July 23, 2019 Jean Janice Elliott (nee Liverpool) left us and this world. Jean was a child born in 1932 in Trinidad and Tobago. She was the last living of the children (of that generation) from Edward and Eliza Liverpool (formerly Snell). Agnes Aldreen, Dorothy, Merlin, Aldrick were her siblings.

The matriarch of our family parented 2 children ( Rawle and then Rhonda) with her husband and true love Winston Elliott who passed away suddenly in 1963 at the age of 36. This very young widow with 2 small children, emigrated to Canada with the help of her pioneering sister Dorothy in 1967. Along with her two children Jean leaves three wonderful grandkids Broc, Charlton and Nicolette. Her daughter in law of 32 years Shelley Mann-Elliott has been invaluable in helping the family with Mum’s escalating medical challenges. There are many friends and family who over time have lovingly remained supportive of the Elliotts and Mum specifically; it has always been deeply appreciated. They are too numerous to list and it includes some Trinidad and Tobago organizations that she was a part of. Much thanks also to all of the professional staff at Pickering’s Orchard Villa (Aspen) residence where she lived safely for the last seven years.

In lieu of flowers or gifts we humbly ask that donations be made in honor of Jean Elliott to the Alzheimer Society Ontario at:
