In memory of

Jean Eleanor Williams

December 19, 1935 -  March 29, 2018

Jean Eleanor Williams (nee Mair) passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at the age of 82 at the Scarborough General Hospital after losing her battle with cancer. She is survived by Linford, her husband of 57 years and her children Lee, Audrey, Kathleen, Alice and Len. Loving grandmother to Leigha, Quin, Arielle, André, Nathan, Nolan and great-grandmother to Denae. Cherished sister of Gloria and Doris (pre-deceased), Beverley, Howard, Stanley, Rolando, Wesley, Junor, Gilbert and their families. Lovingly remembered by her aunts Elfreda and Constance and many friends and extended family. Jean will be remembered and cherished in our memories. She was a caring, happy and wonderful person with a strong sense of family and community, who was always ready to lend a helping hand. She came to Canada in 1958 and loved her adopted country. Jean loved flowers and was an avid gardener. Because of expertise and with her “green thumb”, she has Sugar Cane, grown from a shoot in her sun room, residing in the Allen Gardens Conservatory in Toronto. She was also a devoted and active member of her Church community. We will miss her cooking, the newspaper articles she would save and send to people and her joyfulness in life. Donations can be made in her name to her parish: St. Luke's Anglican Church, 904 Coxwell Avenue, Toronto, M4C 3G3.
