Janice Louise Webber

July 23, 1962 -  September 21, 2022

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Janice Louise Webber (nee O’Day). At the age of 60, Janice passed unexpectedly on September 21, 2022.

Beloved wife of 22 years, she will be dearly missed by her husband, Stephen Webber, and their children Amanda (Cyril), Erin, Amie (Pete), and Emilee. She was a proud and cherished Grandmother, formally known as “Grandma Honey” To Olivia, Anastasia, Isabella, Jonathan, Rianna, Norah, and Lillian. Predeceased by her treasured parents Michael, and Eleanor. Janice will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Julie (Dave), Michael (Deanna), Carole (Joe), and Scott. By her nieces and nephews Jason (Amanda), Heather, Paul (Rebecca), Christie (Josh), Adam and Justin. She was a loving Great Aunt to Alyssa, Emily , Ethan, Aurora, Miles, Madison, Annabelle, and Leviathen.

Janice was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a loving sister and loyal friend who was cherished by all who knew her.

Janice had a long and distinguished career at Bell Canada, starting at the early age of 18, later retiring contributing over 40 years of service. Up until her passing, she dedicated her time and money donating and fostering animals for organizations like basset hound rescue, and the Toronto SPCA services. She will be fondly remembered For being a proud member of AA. She touched many lives in need of assistance, always willing to give a helping hand or provide love and guidance to those needing it most.

Many thanks to the Lakeridge hospital in Oshawa. The critical care staff and nurses not only took excellent care of Janice but offered support and kind words for all visitors and family.

A Memorial Reception will be held on Sunday October 2, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centres - Pickering, 1057 Brock Road in Pickering.

Janice was a wonderful woman. She was a perfect match for my ex. We had become friends over the years. I am truly saddened by her untimely passing. There is a hole in my heart that will be hard to fill. I would be there if l could but l cannot so know my heart is with you especially on Sunday. My love to you all.

My heart goes to the family.She was my confidant,my friend.There was a long history,a lot of memories.She had the best laugh.She was truly a champion of the underdogs.You only had to spend a short time with her to see she had a big heart.Loved her girls.She raised 2 sensitive,caring,great sense of humour women.She will be truly missed.My friend 1977-2022.
