Very very sad to here this , Janet and I grew up together and went to school together
in Thunder Bay ..
Dostoevsky said; "Beauty will save the world", and beauty (love, grace, forgiveness, kindness, mercy, and grace) Janet was, and is, as her spirit goes with us and lives on in us and we are indeed "saved" by her beauty. We are deeper and richer because of her. Brokenhearted but inspired to try and live what she lived. with love. Keith and Jennifer.
I am so deeply sorry that we have lost such a wonderful, caring and passionate person as Janet. She had a wickedly fun and funny side to her. She found the bright side of situations. I am going to miss our too infrequent lunches where we shared what was going on in with our families, work and our other loves. I will especially miss our long hugs at the beginning and end of every time we met!
Janet was more than a friend or a neighbour. Over the years, Janet and I became sisters. We shared happy times and supported each other through difficult times. We loved all our children and cherished the deep friendships they have developed and still maintain since childhood.
Her spirit and joyful love will live in our hearts and soften our sadness at her loss.
Janet and I ran into each other last year and had a lovely long catch up after not seeing each other for a few years. I was always amazed by her talent and her passion for whatever she was doing. She hadn't changed one bit - she was happy, bubbly and genuine Janet.
We'll miss you so much, Janet...you made a difference in a lot of people's lives. K
