<div itemprop="description">BISHOP, Jane (nee Wingrove) - Jane Elizabeth, 56, of Brampton, died suddenly and peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. She was born August 6, 1958 in Butleigh, England, the daughter of William (Bill) and Jean Wingrove. Jane graduated from Bramalea Secondary School with the class of 1977. She then attended Nursing School at Sheridan College, Mississauga and graduated as an RN in 1980. Jane went to England to work as a nurse for 1 year while David was in the Navy. On May 14, 1983 she was united in marriage to the love of her life David Bishop in Brampton. Jane had spent most of her nursing career in Brampton at Peel Memorial Hospital and Brampton Civic working in Intensive Care (ICU) and Recovery (PACU). In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking, baking, reading and spending time with her friends, family and children. Her last act of kindness was donating her organs to the Trillium Gift of Life Network. We are proud to say her heart and 2 kidneys were transplanted. She is survived by her husband David Bishop; five children Amanda (Andrew) Johnson of England, Matthew (Cassie), Gareth (Andrea), Patrick (Emma) and Emma; two grandchildren James and Jacob; her mother Jean Wingrove; her brothers Robert (Marianne) of Guelph, Michael (Carolyn) of Ottawa and her sister Alison McCulloch (Ron). Jane was a very special Auntie to Jennifer, David, Ashley, Laurel, Kayla, Emily, Michelle, Brandon, Taylor and Avery. Jane will also be dearly missed by a very large extended family overseas, both on the Wingrove and Bishop sides. The family has been blessed that a number of family have travelled from England to support us. She was preceded in death by her father William Wingrove. Words cannot express how profound and deep this loss is; Jane was an amazing daughter, sister, niece, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, friend and colleague. She was smart, funny, creative, loving, kind, compassionate and fearless. Her book/movie/dinner club will never be the same without her. She will be dearly missed by Mary Jacobs, Debbie Johnson, Nicola Marr and Tanya Jansen. Jane cared for everyone and everything. Thank you to the emergency services, the doctors and nurses at Brampton Civic for relentlessly trying to save Jane. For the care you gave her and the love and kindness shown to her family. We have been blessed to have the support of our church, North Bramalea United and our ministers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Meadowvale Visitation Centre, 7732 Mavis Rd., Brampton, ON L6Y 5L5. A Celebration of Life Service officiated by Reverend Debbie Johnson will take place on Wednesday, May 20th at 10:30 a.m. at North Bramalea United Church, 363 Howden Blvd., Brampton, ON L6S 4L6. The service will be followed by an Interment. Memorials may be made to North Bramalea United Church, Brampton.</div>
