It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Jim on January 14th 2019. He died as he lived, with courage and strength, after a valiant 8 year battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 57 years, Doreen, his devoted daughter Sandie (the late Craig), his doting grandsons Steven (Ann) and Andrew (Brooke) and great grandson Benjamin Mark.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Shirley, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Jack, William and Robert. Family and friends will gather at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre for visitation on Saturday January 26th from 6-9pm and Sunday from 10-11am. Funeral will take place Sunday January 27th at 11am with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scarborough General Hospital foundation or Valentia Church and Community Centre inc.

Doreen, so sorry to hear about Jim. I remember being with you guys on a few occasions with Peter and Joan. Peter has kept me informed about his struggle and his courage. He had many friends that cared about him. And they will always remember the good times the two of you had with them. Be strong!
