In memory of

James Sheppard Robinson

December 13, 1960 -  October 13, 2023

It is with profound sadness we share that Jamie Robinson passed away surrounded by his family, on the evening of October 13, 2023. Jamie was predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary and his brother Duncan. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Gina, his son Nicholas, his daughters Alexia, Stefani and Mariah (Kristian); grandchildren Sienna and Maxwell; sister Kathryn and brother Andrew (Patty), along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Born in London, Ontario, Jamie later moved to Toronto, to study Political Science at the University of Toronto and complete a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies, from York University. It was after this that he began a long and outstanding career in the communications sector. He was particularly proud of his time at Enbridge, the NWMO, Metrolinx and Kiewit.

Above everything else, Jamie was a devoted and proud family man. His best memories were made at the cottage in Port Elgin with our dog Troy and a full house of family, friends, food and drinks, taking in the spectacular Lake Huron sunsets. His favourite pastimes included golfing, cooking, watching sports, and cheering on his beloved Chicago Blackhawks.

We are deeply appreciative of the medical care he received, particularly from Dr. Karanicolas and the D4 ICU Staff at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook.
