Well, Good Lord will now have to listen to all the stories about the 12 Holes in One scored by "JC". Uncle Jake was the last of 6 children. He was the best golfer....and legend in his own mind...LOL! He personified sports, and particularly Golf, expertise and knowledge. He was the classic "drive for show, and putt for dough" character around the golf scene. I loved his cocky nature and personality, and the scraps he would get into with Uncle Paul and my Dad, Danny....about anything and everything. Never a dull moment when the 2 or 3 of them were around. It will all be gone down here on earth, but I don't doubt for a minute that they'll all be happy to connect in heaven and continue the banter around the Leafs, Blue Jays....and who was the best golfer. May God Bless you JC. You will always be in my heart. I'll miss your phone calls...until we see each other again....say hi to my Mom and Dad and all the other family and friends!! Love, Chris.

Grandpa Jim is now with his brothers and sisters but if heaven has golf courses they’re probably not going to see him too much. Actually, if heaven has a golf dome they won’t see him much. From seeing every hockey game he could get to, to every very, very tough golf lesson sneaking on to the range at Cherry Downs - my grandfather taught me what it means to be resilient, persistent and to have a thick skin. Like he and his siblings used to say “no pain, no gain”. You will be missed Grandpa Jim, I’ll do my best to dress as well as you and if I can do half as well I know I’ll be the best dressed person in any room.
