Passed away on June 19, 2016 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Helena. Beloved father of Paul (Chantale) Neil (Shelley), Elaine (Carlos) and Linda (Peter). Cherished grandfather of Justin, Nathan, Jessie, Jeremy, Hayley, Lindsay, Eric, Samantha, Jon, Christopher, Kelly, Joshua and Hannah. Dear brother of Jack (Beryl), Mary, Alan (Judy), Gordon (Lyne) and Colin (Lori). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Friends may call at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, 905-602-1580, on Thursday, June 23rd from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Salvation Army or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.

To the Kelly's:
I was very sad to hear the passing of your dad. Your dad was very special to me, always my Uncle Jim. He always made me feel like I was part of the family and I loved that as we had no biological cousins in Canada. I remember seeing your dad was when my son Kris was playing hockey with Jeremy and Chris, he hadn't seen me for a good twenty years and he made it seem it was just yesterday. I would automatically relax in his presence. I loved his smile, his jokes and just how he had this great sense of family. I'm blessed to have known him.

My condolences and prayers go to all of you at this time. May there be comfort in knowing how special he was.
