In memory of

James John Solman

May 28, 1942 -  January 12, 2020

James passed away peacefully on Sunday Jan 12th, surrounded by loved ones.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years Marlene “Marl”, his children Laura (Dave), Janna (Paul) and Darren, his grandchildren Ashley (Graham), Bradley (Jess), Aven, Taylor, Carson and great-grandchildren Kohen, Kenley and Evelyn, as well as brother Herb. He was preceded in death by brother Jack.

James will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a kind, thoughtful and hard working family man, who loved to spend time at the cottage or tinkering in his garage.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff in the Chemo Lab at Rouge Valley hospital, and the Radiation team at Sunnybrook’s Odette Center for the tremendous care they have provided over the past 5 years. Also, the family would like to thank the staff in the ICU at Rouge Valley for the care and support in his final days.
