In memory of

Jacqueline Webb

December 12, 1975 -  October 15, 2024

A tribute from her beloved spouse, Keem:

"My partner Jackie was a very complex person. There were many sides to her. From the lovely smile, the highly expressive facial expressions she made, to her love of nature and the outdoors. Not to forget her whole hearted dedication and love for Nathan. She loved to laugh, she loved to travel and boy did she love food. Not only preparing or cooking, eating as well. Walks and hikes, camping, going up North and conservation were some of her other passions.
She believed in and participated in activism for animal welfare. She loved all animals, big and small, however her cats held a special spot in her heart.

Over the last eight years, Jackie fought a courageous and brave fight with a debilitating illness. She fought on until the very end, holding on to hope for a miracle. It was not meant to be though and she lost her battle. However, as painful as it maybe for the rest of us who remain, God takes only his best and brightest, to be up with him. We accept the things we cannot change. We seek strength to change the things we can, and finally ask for wisdom and courage in knowing the difference.
Not only will Nathan and I both miss her, the rest of the family will as well along with all her friends, people she touched and everyone else who is present here physically or in spirit.
Go well and rest in eternal peace Nathan's mommy, my love. You will always be with us and never forgotten. You live on in us now. Always in our hearts ❤️.

I love you shortie, always and forever.
Keem
PS, don’t you forget that Nate loves mommy too!"

Even though I did not know Jackie for a long time, I felt that I had known her my whole life. We became friends when Nathan joined Scouts. Jackies love for the outdoors and nature became evident when she joined the group on hikes and help with the group camps. Jackie enjoyed our last group camp so much that she signed up to be a Scouter. Her disease had other ideas and Jackie was not able to start and fullfil her dream of being a Scouter with Nathan and our Cub pack.
Rest in Peace Jackie.
