August 31, 1951 - September 24, 2024

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Downsview Long Term Care, Toronto, at the age of 73. Predeceased by her parents Theresa (nee O’Connor) and Arthur Smith. Loving mother to Derek Smith (Ginnette) and grandmother to Fiona and Claire. Caring sister to Cheryl (predeceased), Danny, Mary, Billy, Debbie, Susie, Kelly, Tracey and Theresa (Tiny).

Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 2 – 5 p.m. Private Cremation will take place afterwards.

If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Aunt Jackie I will Miss you greatly. I loved the years growing up having you always around. Every Friday you and Derek would spend the weekend to sit at the Hockey arena. I love the times you would take us to the movies , and when you and mom would take Derek and I to the Ex. I pray your at peace and say Hi to Mom for me. Love Carebear xo
