Jacqueline Adrienne Mills, 83, sadly passed away on Monday September 13, 2021 at St.Michael's Hospital from complications of a severe stroke.

She loved to host at her apartment and cook a meal for the ones she loved, while also showing the many plants she took care of.
Jackie was loved by many. She will always be remembered for her generosity.

May she rest in peace.

Jackie was a participant in my exercise classes over a period of many years. Through the pandemic, she joined the group in the park and on Zoom regularly. She was dedicated to her fitness, and a friendly positive force in our group. We were all saddened to hear of her passing and offer our condolences to her family. May she rest in peace. We will miss her.

From Paula Giancola

A few weeks ago when I was walking on St. Clair Avenue in front of Longo's, not looking down, I suddenly tripped, because some of the blocks are not laid down evenly. I thought that I was certainly going to hit the ground, face first with my glasses on, and could picture my face and glasses being smashed. Luckily I was able to control the fall and saved myself from falling down.

Because I have been attending exercise classes with Paula for many, many years and she concentrates a lot on balancing I am sure this is what helped me to have the strength to keep my balance.

My advice to all you ladies and gents please continue to practice balancing, as much as you can, to avoid having any unexpected accidents.

Jackie
