In memory of

Jack William Kelly

October 23, 1924 -  November 15, 2017

JACK WILLIAM KELLY passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 93 on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from heart failure. Jack was the devoted and loving husband for 45 years to the late Elma Kelly, with whom he shared a passion for golfing, Harmony Ranch, the Blue Jays and Florida. Father of Jack (Judy), step-father to Diane (the late Grant) & Ruth (Gary), devoted grandfather to Kathleen & Matthew, beloved “GGP” to Nathan, Mitchell & Dylan, and “Uncle Jack” to countless others (both related and unrelated). Jack loved to entertain and was a generous host, in particular to the extended Shields family that he married into and became such a big part of. He was also a barbershopper to the core, and was on the risers for every important event in the history of the East York Barbershoppers since he joined as a Charter Member in 1950. We will all miss Jack’s sense of style, dry wit and heart of gold. Jack was surrounded by family right to the end, and neither we or he would have had it any other way. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jack’s life at the PINE HILLS FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Road, on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11am. Visitation to be held at 10am, and the day prior from 1pm-5pm. Memorial donations can be made to The Harmonize For Speech Fund, which Jack so strongly supported.

Uncle Jack was the kind of man that was referred to as Uncle even by those not related to him. He will be missed.
