August 31, 1959 -  August 8, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Irina Zhailovich–Naumov, who passed away at her home in Toronto, Ontario, on August 8, 2025, at the age of 65.

Irina was born on August 31, 1959, in Minsk, Belarus, to Samuel Zhailovich and Natalia Apeonkina. She grew up with her brothers, Vladimir Zhailovich and Leonid Zhailovich.

In 1991, Irina moved with her husband and young daughter to Israel, and in 1994, the family made Toronto, Canada, their home.

A dedicated professional, Irina retired at the age of 63 from her position as Director of Food Services and EVS Services. She was respected for her work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Above all, Irina was devoted to her family. She was a loving and doting grandmother to her three grandchildren Maximilian, Evelyn, and Magnus who brought her endless joy. She was a supportive and caring mother to her only daughter, Mariya, and held deep admiration for her son-in-law, Gianpiero Pugliese.

Irina is survived by her husband of 45 years, Vladimir Naumov; her daughter, Mariya Naumov; and her cherished grandchildren. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be forever remembered and deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, August 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Services will take place at:

Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those wishing to honor her memory to spend time with their loved ones, as she always valued family above all else.
