In memory of

Ingrid Erna "Ingrid" (Mühlenbrock) Bodemann

November 7, 1935 -  May 20, 2021

After a courageous battle with cancer, our beautiful wife, Mami and Oma, Ingrid has taken her place in heaven with her mom (Erna+2011) and her son (Oliver +2010).
Leaving behind the love of her life and husband of 65 years - Kurt Bodemann, daughter Jannett (Bodemann) Ioannides (& Angelo), son Andree Bodemann (& Diane), grandchildren Christopher (& Danielle), Stefanie (& Patrick), Nicole (& Pierre) to move on without her.
Ingrid was born in 1935 in Buer, Germany to Erna and Josef Mühlenbrock. She met Kurt - the love of her life - at the age of 15 and spent her life at his side. In 1956 she followed Kurt to Canada to start a new life and raise her family in Toronto. Ingrid remained dedicated to her family in Germany and shared it with her Canadian family her whole life.
In Germany, she will be greatly missed by the Mühlenbrock, Schwingel, Nienhaus, Rüther, Einhaus, Westerman, Czipura families (to name but a few).
Ingrid loved music, to sing, cook, bake, entertain, travel and be with her family. She was always dressed for an occasion and beautiful to the core of her being.
Thank you to the health care teams that did everything they could to help use through her battle with cancer; Credit Valley Hospital Oncology and Palliative Care Team, Dr. Laura Harild, Anna and the team at Heart House, Nelly and Shioban (her nurses), Fidelia, Kemi, Yemi and the team at Bayshore and the Lhin team headed by our co-ordinator Charmaine. Andy and Betty - thank you for all your support over the last months.
Rest In Peace beautiful Ingrid, Mami and Oma. Protect and watch over us from heaven above. You are in our heart and soul always!
We love you,
Kurt, Jannett, Andree, Christopher, Stefanie, Nicole, Ange, Diane, Danielle, Patrick and Pierre

Our hearts are broken with the loss of Ingrid, our beloved neighbour of over 20 years who was more like family to us. We have treasured the years with Kurt and Ingrid next door who watched our family grow and were a part of lives daily. We are honoured to have known them and will cherish thier kindness and generosity for years to come - our girls treasure the many wonderful gifts they received upon Kurt and Ingrids return from thier trips to Germany, and the love they showed them over the years. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the entire family, our prayers, love and thoughts are with you all ❤️

Meine Liebe Tante Ingrid,
I love you!

Our deepest condolences to Kirk and the entire Bodemann family on the sad passing of dear Ingrid.

A lovely full-of-life lady who was always a pleasure to be around. We have many fond memories of her great smile and friendly nature at all the many family gatherings we shared over the years.

We will keep those nice memories in our hearts and she will be sadly missed by all.

Dear Aunt Ingrid, our thoughts are with you in heaven. We still can not really believe that you are no longer there... For your age you were actually still in such a good shape, one could often not believe your age - but your illness came unfortunately very suddenly and tore you out of life. We will never forget how you were with us in Germany every Christmas and how we all celebrated together. Every time you brought us a great surprise from Canada, which we were always very happy about. We will always remember the great time with you! Rest in Peace - Joelle & Jan, Chiara & Paul
