I had the great pleasure to work for Ila on a campaign and then at Metro Hall. I was young, inexperienced, and could not have a better mentor and boss. She inspired me and always will.

Our allotment garden community have lost one of its brightest flowers. We will never forget her kindness, smile and generosity. We shared many tomatoe seeds and stories over the years. We will miss Ila and all her hard work and dedication for all of us in the garden community. Michael & Mikey

Ila gave tremendous leadership and support to our city over many years. Her presence was important to many groups of which she was not an active member. I will always remember her with great respect and admiration. My condolences to John and family members.

Ila was a great woman, so interesting and devoted to a wonderful civic vision. Her son Myles was a school pal of our son and we have memories of the boys with school projects and sleep overs and visiting the Bossons Annex house. I know in the absence of Covid, there would be turnout to go our her work and life contribution!
