"When we blossom forth into the night, what do we hear?
We hear the silence of the bees.
We hear the brushing of the wind in the trees.
We hear the whisper of wind to branch and branch to wind.
And we know that we are close to the end of the journey."
God Bless you.

It was a pleasure to of have the opportunity to meet Bert & a privilege to call him a friend. He always had a song in his voice just how he'd say hello. He always smiled when he talked about his wife & son. I got to watch Matthew grow up in mini-stories at my desk & hear how proud Bert was of him & Laureen.
When his father-in-law passed it broke his heart & mine as I listened to him grieve.
Even on his hard days Bert always wore a smile. He is truly a one of a kind classy gentleman.
He has left a large void but enough love to help comfort you & carry you through anything. Remember he is always there
