In memory of

Ignazio La Rosa

August 14, 1956 -  June 13, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ignazio La Rosa, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at the age of 63. Beloved husband to Elena. Loving and devoted father to his son Philip, and daughters Cassandra, Jessica (Claudio) and Andrea (Vadim). Proud grandfather to Polina. Cherished brother to Franca (Carlos). Dear son of the late Filippo and Angela La Rosa.

He will be deeply missed by his brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, relatives and friends, and all that knew and loved him dearly. He will be forever remembered for his strength, support, deep love for his family and for a smile that never wavered through his long battle with Pulmonary Hypertension. We adore and miss you deeply! Rest in eternal peace. Until we meet again.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, which would be appreciated by the family. Please visit tgwhf.ca/tribute or call 416-603-5300.

To my angel up above.. Words can't even begin to express how much I miss you. You were taken from us too soon, but we know you are no longer in pain. We know you're watching over all of us, with your glass of scotch and hat on backwards, still keeping us in line. You've always been there for each of us without any question. We knew we could run to you no matter what, and you always made everything better - always had the right answer to any question.

Dad, we miss you more than anything. My love for you is deeper than anything i've ever felt, or will ever feel. I'm going to miss your laugh, your clumsiness, your warm embrace, and those big bear hugs. You were a fighter and never gave up, not for a second. I will always cherish the memories we shared, and keep you in my heart forever and always. I know you are with me everywhere I go, I can already feel it! Thank you for being such an amazing dad and always having my back. I hope i've made you proud, because I know I am so, so proud of you.

To my dad.. My angel.. Until we meet again..

Love always, you're little Pupetta,
