GAVIERES, Ignacio "Bhoy" - Went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2023 at the age of 77.

Husband of Edlita. Loving father to Dennis and Fedayeen, Yvonne and Noel, Barbara and Paul, Dianne and Brennan, Carlo and Graziella, Chadley and Romeila, Algiselle and John, Alphonsel and Jhun, and Rendell. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Jonah, Trinity, Tristan, JC, Lander, Charlemagne, Francisco, Mikko, Ethan, Ezriel, Eiko, Isabelle, Isolde, Roman, Zeth, EJ, Aeryn, Leia, Lemuel and Noah.

Son of the late Rafael and Marina Gavieres, he leaves behind brothers and sisters, Jing, Clarita, Carmen, Edith and Arlene; and joins Jess, Marie and Maria Luisa in heaven.

Bhoy will be remembered by his strength and determination, infectious smile and most fondly, his love of karaoke.

Family and friends may visit Friday, October 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at PINE HILLS CEMETERY AND FUNERAL CENTRE in Scarborough, ON. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at PINE HILLS CEMETERY AND FUNERAL CENTRE, immediately followed by a burial service at PINE RIDGE MEMORIAL GARDENS in Ajax, ON.

My Papa. I am so loss for words. We've had our share of drama filled tampo arguments. But I love you my papa. I will miss you so much. But you needed your rest and be home to our God. I never really said sorry for our many arguments but you always gave me space and saying that you are at fault because you were not good enough, rough and couth but you were enough. You are my dad and I, your daughter. You always reached out saying wala Lang and tandaan mo that mahal na mahal kita despite I've been despicable. Thank you for our last dance that Friday. Even with your last strength, you wanted to let me know you love me, lakas loob, pray, Kenta, sayaw, everything will be okay. You are love and always my papa. Rest in peace now. Thank you God for my papa
