Hyangsook Shin was born on September 12, 1954* in a beautiful rural town of South Korea.
She got married to Jaeguk Shin in 1979 and had 1 son and 1 daughter.
As growing up she fell in love with music and enjoyed playing various musical instruments including Korean cello, piano and guitar.
She also enjoyed singing hymn and praising the Lord.
While she was in middle school, she met and accepted Jesus, and began to grow faith in God.
She had always been bright, positive, and fond of getting connected with others.
Hyangsook had a passion for others’ suffering, while being happy for others’ success.
She had always been full of joy and love of God. She tried to share God’s word with others and preparing for the day Jesus will come again.

강원도 영월에서 1954*년 9월 12일에 7남매의 셋째딸로 출생하셨습니다.
1979년 신제국 형제와 혼인하여 슬하에 1남 1녀를 두셨습니다.
학창시절에는 음악을 좋아하여 가야금, 피아노, 기타 등 다양한 악기를 연주 하시길 즐겨하시고, 찬양하길 좋아하셨습니다.
학창시절에 하나님을 만나고 신앙생활을 본격적으로 시작하셨습니다.
어떠한 주어진 상황에서도 늘 밝고 긍정적으로 지내셨고, 사람들과 교통하고 나누길 좋아하셨습니다.
타인의 고통에 함께 힘들어 하시고 기쁜 일에 누구보다 기뻐하시는 분이었으며,
모든 일에 밝고 긍정적이며 헌신적이고 사랑을 나누어 주시는 분이셨습니다.
늘 예수님 다시 오시는 날을 고대하며 준비하시던 분이셨습니다.
어머니를 아시던 모든 분들께도 그런 분으로 기억되었으면 합니다.
