In loving memory of Hung Wing Lem.

Hung Wing Lem, passed on October 2nd, 2024; at the age of 94. He is the beloved husband of Mei Lan Lem, the father to Ming (Moon), Jim (Ana), and Susan (Derick). An amazing grandfather to Vincent, Alex, May, Jason, Jeremy, Michelle and Jarod.

He enjoyed his time talking about stocks with his children and cooking meals for his family. He could whip up the best meals in his wok so effortlessly and was as humble as ever in how talented he was in the kitchen. When his children and grandchildren came to visit, food was always offered whether it was freshly made, frozen and made with love or he had to walk with the family to the closest restaurant, butcher shop or bakery.

He shared and fostered his values and advice to his children and grandchildren. His immeasurable support and love in his family made him the rock, he was dependable and quiet but full of life. He was a second father to his grandchildren and loved being around them.

Hung Wing was able to experience his children growing up and creating families of their own as well as being a devoted and loving grandfather to his grand kids. He loved when family came to visit and he was surrounded by laughter, conversation and noise. He would be sitting or standing in the corner, often with a smile on his face observing the happy chaos around him. He was a humble and quiet man, who loved to watch and observe everything around him. He could talk for hours and hours about which stocks to invest in and loved watching BNN.

He was simple, in the sense that he appreciated the simplest things in life, he didn’t need anything flashy or fancy. Ultimately he just loved being around his family and hearing the stories, life updates and having a good laugh.

He will forever be missed and in our hearts.
