He was an admired friend and colleague of my husband, Bob Fulford, since their days at Maclean's. Over the years he became my friend as well. Ken was smart, funny, and generous. Always just a phone call away. I will miss him.
Sincere condolences to Megan, Ken's daughters, and his adored grandchildren.
He was a wonderful editor to work for; and a lovely friend. So glad we got to see him a few weeks ago. He was valiant and funny right to the end.
Ken gave me my big break in journalism and I remain forever grateful to him for putting me in a place in my working life where I wanted to be. Three months before he died, my wife Marjorie and I and three other friends were lucky enough to have dinner with Ken, a chance where I could thank him for all he had done for me.
My sincere condolences to the Lefolii family, especially Simone, who I knew best.
Over the years that I served as part of Geoff Conway's team at CUC Ltd, I got to know and welcome Ken's interest and judgement on the company's Board of Directors where I had mostly a listening brief until Geoff's unfortunate death from cancer.
