The family of Hugh A. Ferguson announce his peaceful passing at home on August 12th, 2022 at the age of 89.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie. Survived by his 3 children and their families; Hugh J. Ferguson (Karin) Jay Ferguson (Hanne) Sheila Gionfriddo (Tony) Proud Grampy to Sarah (Matt), Silvia and Lindsay. Proud Buddy to Antonio and Dante. Proud great Grampy to Wee Hughie.

He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, his sister June and brother in law Bill.

Hugh proudly served as a member of the Toronto Police Service for 38 years retiring in 1992 as a Staff Inspector and will be missed by his extended police family.

Hugh was very active with the Police Soccer Team, Pipe Band, Widows and Orphans, Amateur Athletic Association, Police Credit Union and several amateur sports organizations.

Hugh enjoyed his winters in Florida and will be missed by his friends from the Boulevard Club
